Sweetgrass is commonly used when praying, smudging or purifying ceremonies and consider it a sacred plant. Native to the United States & Canada, it is usually braided, dried, and burned.  Our Sweetgrass braids are 20-25" long are prefect for smoldering and don't produce an open flame when burned.
